MeetSalem

Whether it’s your first visit to Salem, or you’re a local who’s always meant to take a tour, this is a great introduction to Salem.

MeetSalem will introduce you to a variety of sites and stories in downtown Salem at a leisurely pace, following less than a half-mile route specifically chosen to be mobility-conscious for those using a walker, wheelchair, or scooter.

There are several public benches along the route, for those who may want the option to sit between stops. Guests of all mobilities are welcome.

PopSalem

This Halloween, hear about the people and events that made Salem the “Witch City” and Capitol of Halloween.

Curious about the very different ways that Salem appears in pop culture? From Witchcraft to Lovecraft, the PopSalem tour is for you!

Guests with mobility needs are encouraged to contact us with questions before booking this tour.

ReadSalem (November)

It’s a walking tour/book group combo!

  1. Read the book prior to your visit.
  2. Tour the sites in downtown Salem relevant to the story
  3. Meet in the historic and cozy reading room of the Salem Athenaeum for a book group with your guide and other guests.

15% of ReadSalem ticket proceeds are donated to support the Athenaeum.

Readings rotate on a seasonal basis. November’s book is The Crucible, by Arthur Miller. Support another local business by purchasing your book here from Salem’s own Wicked Good Books.

Guests with mobility needs are encouraged to contact us with questions before booking this tour.

At Dynamic History Salem, we believe in fostering a comfortable and open environment for learning and fun. Feel free to contact us with any questions relevant to your own needs on the tour.
